Welcome to the Online Exhibitors Manual for the 7th EAGE Global Energy Transition Conference & Exhibition to be held in Hannover, Germany from 2-6 November 2026. We are delighted that you have chosen to exhibit at our event.
Please read this manual carefully and make sure you meet all the deadlines; it can save you and the company the inconvenience and additional expense of late order surcharges.

Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC)
The GET 2026 conference will be hosted at the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC), a major international venue located in central Hannover, Germany. The HCC combines historic architecture with modern exhibition and conference facilities, making it well suited for large-scale events such as GET 2026.The venue offers flexible halls, advanced technical infrastructure, and strong logistical support for exhibitions and stand builds. Its central location provides excellent transport connections, as well as easy access to hotels, restaurants, and cultural amenities in Hannover.

Freight, Deliveries & Logistics
To ensure safe and efficient logistics operations during build-up and breakdown, all freight forwarding and on-site handling must be coordinated through the official logistics partner appointed by EAGE. Proper scheduling and coordination are essential due to limited loading access and venue traffic restrictions.
Direct deliveries to the venue before the official build-up period are not permitted. Vehicles may only stop in designated loading and unloading areas and must be removed immediately after unloading. Fire department access routes and emergency vehicle routes must remain clear at all times.

Important Logistics Rules
- Do not send goods directly to the venue before build-up
- All unloading must be coordinated via the official freight partner
- Empty containers and packaging materials may not be stored in the halls
- Vehicles blocking access routes may be removed at owner’s expense
- Fire department access routes must remain unobstructed
Important dates
Exhibition Schedule
The official event schedule includes designated periods for stand construction, exhibitor access, exhibition opening hours, and dismantling. Exhibitors and contractors must work strictly within the allocated timings provided by EAGE and HCC.
No construction or dismantling activity is permitted during official exhibition opening hours. All stands must remain fully operational and staffed during the open period.
Space Only exhibitors must submit their stand design for approval. Failure to obtain approval may result in refusal of permission to build.

Stand Construction Rules
All stands must comply with HCC technical guidelines, German safety regulations, and approved stand plans. Stand construction must ensure a safe, professional, and visually open exhibition environment for all participants.
Exhibitors and contractors are responsible for ensuring that all structures are stable, safely constructed, and compliant with venue regulations.
General Height Regulations
The venue applies strict construction height limitations to maintain visibility, safety, and overall exhibition hall consistency.
Key Requirements
- Standard shell scheme height: 2.50m
- Maximum approved stand height: 3.50m
- Heights above 3.50m require written approval from EAGE and HCC.
- Multi-storey stands are not permitted
- Closed walls facing aisles require approval
Stand Boundary Rules
All stand elements must remain fully within the rented exhibition space. Aisles and gangways must remain open and unobstructed at all times.
Key Requirements
- No overhangs beyond rented stand space
- No stand element may extend into aisles or gangways
- Walls must be set back at least 50cm from aisles
- Aisle-facing sides must remain open
- Neighbouring stands may not be used for support or attachment
Wall & Finish Requirements
Visible rear and side walls must be professionally finished to maintain the visual standard of the exhibition hall.
Key Requirements
- Rear and side walls visible to neighbours must be fully finished in white
- Shared walls must be properly finished
- Unfinished backs or structures are not permitted
Rigging & Hanging
Suspensions and hanging structures are subject to venue approval and technical restrictions.
Key Requirements
- Rigging and hanging banners require HCC approval.
- Suspensions may only be installed by approved contractors
- Ceiling structures may not interfere with venue safety systems

Stand Design Approval
Space Only exhibitors must submit their stand design for approval. Failure to obtain approval may result in refusal of permission to build.

Booth Package Approvals
- Standard stands up to 2.50 m height that comply with all standard technical guidelines generally do not require formal approval drawings.
- Any stand that exceeds 2.50 m height, includes special constructions, suspended elements, vehicles, platforms, enclosed rooms, or other non-standard features must be submitted for approval to EAGE in advance.
- All stand plans requiring approval must be submitted 14 September 2026 with detailed drawings and technical information.
Stand Types & Layout Rules
Different stand configurations have specific layout requirements intended to maintain open sightlines and a balanced exhibition environment throughout the halls.
Stand designs must not obstruct neighbouring exhibitors or reduce visibility across the exhibition floor.
Island Stands
Island stands are open on all four sides and should maintain a highly accessible and visually open appearance.

- Open on all four sides
- No walls facing aisles
- Must maintain clear visibility across the hall
- Maximum height: 3.50m unless approved otherwise
Corner / Peninsula Stands
Corner and peninsula stands have increased aisle exposure and therefore require open-facing layouts.
Requirements
- Open on two or three sides
- No walling allowed on aisle-facing sides
- Must maintain an open visual appearance
Middle Stands
Middle stands are bordered by neighbouring exhibitors and therefore require careful layout planning to avoid blocking adjacent visibility.

- Open on one side only
- No walling directly on the aisle side
- Must not obstruct neighbouring stands

Fire Safety Regulations
Strict fire safety regulations apply throughout build-up, exhibition opening hours, and breakdown. All exhibitors and contractors must comply with German fire protection regulations and HCC venue safety requirements.
Emergency exits, hydrants, extinguishers, and fire access routes must remain fully accessible at all times.
Mandatory Requirements
All stand construction materials and decorative elements must meet approved European flame-retardant standards.
Materials
- All stand materials must be flame-retardant
- Required standards:
- DIN 4102 B1
- EN 13501-1 Class B/C-s1-d0
Safety Access
- Emergency exits may not be blocked
- Escape routes must remain fully accessible
- Fire extinguishing equipment must remain visible and accessible
Prohibited Items
Certain materials and equipment are prohibited due to fire and safety risks.
Not Permitted
- Open flames or candles
- Gas cylinders or flammable gases
- Petrol or spirit-based equipment
- Fireworks or pyrotechnics without approval
- Deep fryers
- Nitrocellulose paints and spray guns
Additional Fire Safety Rules
- Fog machines require prior approval
- Laser systems require approval and compliance documentation
- Fire department inspections may occur during build-up
- Hot works (cutting, welding, grinding) are prohibited unless specifically authorised
Electrical & Technical Regulations
All technical installations must comply with HCC engineering standards and German electrical safety regulations. Electrical and water connections may only be installed by approved contractors appointed or authorised by the venue.
Unauthorised interference with venue systems is strictly prohibited.
Electrical Installations
- Venue operating voltage: 230/400V
- Installations must comply with:
- VDE 0100
- VDE 0108
- DGUV Regulation 3
Technical Restrictions
- No drilling into floors, walls, or ceilings
- No anchoring into venue structures
- Heavy loads may only be transported using rubber-tired equipment
- Hall structures and columns may not be damaged
Health & Safety
All exhibitors, stand builders, and contractors are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment throughout the event. German occupational health and safety regulations apply during build-up, exhibition opening hours, and breakdown periods.
Hazardous work areas must be clearly identified and secured where necessary.

Materials, Waste & Sustainability
HCC sustainability and waste regulations apply throughout the event.
Waste & Cleaning
- Waste must be separated correctly
- Excessive waste disposal may incur charges
- Empty packaging must be removed immediately
- Stand cleaning is exhibitor responsibility
- Stand spaces must be returned clean and damage-free
- Waste management can be ordered from HCC. More information coming soon.

Only approved tapes may be used:

Important Restrictions
- Self-adhesive carpet tiles are not permitted
- Adhesive materials must be removed without residue
- Hall floors may not be painted
Posters, Advertising & Promotions
Advertising and promotional activities must remain within the exhibitor’s stand space.
Not Permitted
- Posters or stickers on venue surfaces
- Distribution of flyers in aisles or public areas
- Promotional activity outside allocated stand space
- Advertising attached to venue walls, windows, or doors
Security
The exhibition area is a secured area and only accessible with valid accreditation. EAGE expressly declines responsibility for any loss or damage that may befall the person or property of any exhibitor from any cause whatsoever.
Security & Insurance
The exhibition halls are controlled-access areas and are only accessible with valid accreditation. While general venue security measures are in place, exhibitors remain fully responsible for the supervision and security of their own stands, products, equipment, and personal belongings at all times.
Stands are not guarded overnight during build-up, exhibition days, or breakdown periods. Exhibitors are strongly advised to arrange additional stand security for valuable or portable items and to take all necessary precautions against opportunist theft. Valuable items should never be left unattended.
All exhibitors participate in the exhibition entirely at their own risk and are required to arrange comprehensive insurance coverage for all exhibition-related activities, including transport, installation, exhibition period, and dismantling.
Insurance Should Include
- Stand construction and dismantling
- Exhibition goods and equipment
- Transport and storage
- Theft, fire, and accidental damage
- Public liability and third-party claims
- Personal injury coverage
Neither EAGE nor HCC accepts any responsibility or liability for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to exhibitor property
- Damage caused by exhibitors or contractors
- Personal injury to exhibitors, contractors, staff, or third parties
- Financial or consequential loss
- Event cancellation, postponement, interruption, or curtailment
EAGE is not responsible for any loss sustained by exhibitors from fire, theft, damage, or any other cause whatsoever. Exhibitors expressly waive any and all claims against EAGE and HCC in connection with such losses or damages.
Important Information

Non-smoking
Smoking inside the venue is prohibited.
Booth Management
All exhibition stands must remain professional, fully operational, and accessible throughout the exhibition opening hours. Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring their stand is properly staffed, safely managed, and compliant with all venue safety regulations at all times.
Exhibits, furniture, branding, and stand structures must remain within the boundaries of the rented stand space and may not extend into aisles or public walkways. Booth designs must maintain clear visibility and safe access throughout the exhibition hall.
Emergency exits, exit signage, fire alarm equipment, hydrants, fire extinguishers, and technical access areas must remain fully visible and unobstructed at all times.
Canvassing, promotional activities, or distribution of materials outside the allocated stand space – including in aisles, entrances, and public areas is strictly prohibited.
For shell scheme booths, all aisle-facing sides must remain open. No walling or closed structures are permitted directly on aisle-facing sides unless approved by the organiser.

Noise Level
Audio-visual presentations, sound systems, and demonstrations are permitted only if they do not disturb neighbouring exhibitors or disrupt the general exhibition environment. Exhibitors operating sound-producing equipment must ensure that sound levels remain at a reasonable volume at all times.
The maximum permitted sound level is 60 dBA, measured at the edge or corner of the stand. EAGE and HCC reserve the right to regulate, restrict, or stop any activity causing excessive noise disturbance.

- Audio-visual presentations and amplified sound require prior approval
- Public address systems, radio broadcasts, laser shows, or sound systems used solely to attract attention are prohibited
- Sound must not interfere with neighbouring stands or presentations
- Repeated violations may result in the shutdown of power supply without compensation

Cleaning
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their own stands.
Please take note of the following:
Exhibitors are responsible for arranging the disposal of their waste during build-up, break-down, and during the opening hours of the exhibition. This includes plastic that needs cutting away after build-up.
Any refuse left after build-up will be charged to the exhibitor.

Freight
Shipping and handling of your goods require care and attention. EAGE has engaged Meritex International Ltd as the sole and exclusive freight forwarder and site handling agent.
DO NOT send packages directly to the venue.
Stand builders: off loading of your freight MUST be arranged via Meritex.

Exhibitor Registration Information
Starting in 2024, EAGE has moved from the Exhibitor Voucher and Guest Pass system of previous years to a new system that distributes three types of Exhibitor registration types based on the sqm of your purchased booth package/space only space.
These fixed registration types are not meant to operate as vouchers and as such can not be exchanged or combined to upgrade to another registration type.
The three registration types are:

Exhibitors can have packages delivered to:

Include EAGE GET 2023 and your name on the package. Packages can ONLY be delivered on 14 November 2023 from 07:00 to 22:00 and a representative from your organization must be on site to receive.

Car Parking
Parking of participants is not possible within the grounds of the Palais des Congrès d’Issy.

Construction and/or Dismantling during Exhibition Period
No constructive and/or dismantling work on stands or interiors will be permitted during the exhibition period from Wednesday, 15 November 2023, 08:00 to Friday, 17 November 2023, 18:00.
Booth Package Exhibitors may dismantle their stand between 18:00 to 19:00, Friday, 17 November 2023. At the end of the dismantling period, the stand space should be left clean and free of adhesive tape.
Space Only Exhibitors may dismantle their stand between 18:00 to 22:00, Friday, 17 November 2023.

Note:
- It is prohibited to drive screws, nails, etc into the shell scheme panels, no wall panel may be damaged.
- Your shell scheme stand will be ready for decorating on Tuesday, 14 March 2023, at 19:00hrs.
- If aisles are blocked or neighboring exhibitors complain, EAGE Events B.V. reserves the right to interrupt or impose time restrictions on demonstrations, etc.
Fascia
Make sure you fill out your company profile on the Exhibitor Portal. We will use your Company name for your booth’s fascia.

- All exhibitors having booked as “Space Only” MUST submit a copy of the stand design to the EAGE Exhibition Team for evaluation and approval no later than 16 October 2023. Please submit a clear sketch with measurements and a scaled floor plan (in meters), or a model plus a scaled drawing. This information should contain the name and address of the stand building contractor. Failure to provide a stand design for approval will result in the exhibitor not having permission to build.
- Stand design will be checked by EAGE on, amongst others, the following points:
- Joint Stand Walls:When you do not have an island booth you are requested to put in walls to divide your space from your neighbors.
- 50cm Inward Rule for Walls:Walling on the aisle sides is not allowed. Walls need to be at a minimum distance of 50cm from the aisle.
- Overhang: no part of any booth exhibit may overhang any gangway or exceed the booth boundary space rented
- Rigging and Banners: RIGGING OF BANNERS IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THIS VENUE.
- Stand designs can not exceed 3.5 m in height.
- EAGE and Palais des Congrès d’Issy-les-Moulineaux & Viparis SAS reserve the right to stop the building work at any time of any stand that is not fulfilling all rules specified in the rules and regulations.
- Walls and/or exhibits with unfinished backs or sides that are visible to neighboring stands must be made presentable. Moreover, it is not allowed to use the walls of any adjacent space for any purpose.
- Multi-storey stands are not permitted.
Island Stands
These stands have aisles on all sides. No walling is allowed at the aisles. When you design this type of stand please ensure that the view of other stands and of the exhibition as a whole is not obstructed. The approved height is 250 cm, including raised platforms.
Corner/Head Stands
These peninsula stands have aisles on two or three sides. No walling is allowed at the aisles. When you design this type of stand please ensure that the view of other stands and of the exhibition as a whole is not obstructed.
Middle Stand
These stands only have an aisle on one side. No walling is allowed at the aisles. When you design this type of stand please ensure that the view of other stands and of the exhibition as a whole is not obstructed.
EAGE and Palais des Congrès d’Issy-les-Moulineaux & Viparis SAS reserve the right to stop the building work at any time of any stand that is not fulfilling all rules specified in the rules and regulations.
Stand Builders
All construction material and waste during the build-up and breakdown periods must be removed from the site by the stand builder/contractor after each of these periods.
Construction Height
- The general construction height of the shell scheme stands is 2.50 meters.
- No other feature or exhibit elsewhere on the stands may exceed this height.
Venue Rules & Regulation
Build-up & Breakdown Periods
Fire Safety Regulations must be adhered to at all times. Please review the Safety Specifications Manual from the Palais des Congrès d’Issy, which can be found on the Downloads tab.
For Space Only: Installers, exhibitors, and their suppliers must provide the building’s Fire Safety Officer with reaction-to-fire reports for the materials used or valid fireproofing certificates.
The installation of electrical work by any person other than the appointed supplier is expressly prohibited. No person other than a member of the contractor’s staff may alter or otherwise interfere with electrical installations. All wiring must comply with regulations as defined by the Palais des Congrès d’Issy.
Exhibition Open Period

Participants are not permitted to switch a neighboring stand’s power on and/or off.
Health, Safety & Environment
EAGE expects all involved in the build-up, show days, and breakdown of the exhibition at all levels, to comply with their legal duties. This includes cooperating with us on health and safety matters and taking care of their own health and safety and that of others, whether from within or from outside the company, who may be affected by their actions.
For safety reasons, we advise everyone to wear safety shoes during the build-up and breakdown of the exhibition.
If your stand is by, or on the route to, an emergency exit or the aisle must be clear. Anything left there will be removed by the cleaning team. Please ensure that your team is briefed accordingly.
In case of an emergency, please contact the nearest security guard.
Use the (emergency) exits to leave the building.

- Stay calm and prevent panic
First aid and emergency medical personnel will be onsite. In case of a medical emergency or first aid need contact the nearest security guard, host, or EAGE team member.
EAGE Rules & Regulation
Security
The exhibition area is a secured area and only accessible with valid accreditation. EAGE expressly declines responsibility for any loss or damage that may befall the person or property of any exhibitor from any cause whatsoever.
Insurance
Each exhibitor exhibits at his own risk.
EAGE and Palais des Congrès d’Issy-les-Moulineaux & Viparis SAS, do not accept any responsibility for damage to, or loss of, any properties caused by Exhibitors or Contractors. Exhibitors are especially warned that all exhibits are the sole responsibility of the Company/Individual to whom they belong. Exhibitors must effect their own insurance against all risks. The strongest possible precautions against opportunist theft should be taken at all times.
EAGE is not responsible for any loss sustained by exhibitors from fire, theft, damage or any other cause, or for personal injury or loss to or by any person employed by the exhibitor or any third party.
Exhibitors shall have no claim whatsoever against EAGE and/or Palais des Congrès d’Issy-les-Moulineaux & Viparis SAS.
EAGE will not be liable for any financial loss incurred by the exhibitors resulting from the cancellation or curtailment of the exhibition for any reason whatsoever.
Non-smoking
Smoking inside the venue is prohibited.
Booth Management
- Stands must remain open, with exhibits on display and booth personnel on duty during opening hours;
- Canvassing in the aisles and public areas of the building and its environment is expressly prohibited;
- Emergency exits, signs indicating exits and access to rooms housing technical facilities must not be blocked or obstructed in any way by the exhibition booths or exhibits;
- Fire alarm equipment, hydrants, fire extinguishers and signs indicating such equipment should not be removed or obstructed in any way;
- No part of any booth exhibit may overhang any aisle or exceed the boundaries of the booth space rented.
- All sides of shell scheme booths bordering on aisles are open.
- At those sides of the booths no walling is allowed.
Noise Level
Exhibitors operating sound-producing equipment must keep the sound at a reasonable volume, of which a sound level of 60 decibels or more (measured at the corner of the stand) will not be exceeded, in order to avoid disturbing other exhibitors. Public address systems, laser shows, radio broadcasts and other devices used solely to attract attention by sound are prohibited. EAGE reserves the right to regulate and/or restrict any sound.
It is not permitted for exhibit staff to hand out any brochures, leaflets, commercial information, gifts or any other material in the aisles, or any other part of the premises, except for the exhibitors’ own stand.
Non-smoking

- If you receive an offer to purchase EAGE’s delegate list, note that this is a scam as we do not sell our delegate list;
- If you are contacted by any hotel agency, note that we do not work with a booking agent for this event;
- If you receive a document with our name or the name of our event(s) listed that offers advertising space on the Fair Guide website or in their directories, please do not sign the form unless you have carefully read and understood the terms contained in the small print. Cleaning
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their own stands.
Please take note of the following:
Exhibitors are responsible for arranging the disposal of their waste during build-up, break-down, and during the opening hours of the exhibition. This includes plastic that needs cutting away after build-up.
Any refuse left after build-up will be charged to the exhibitor.
Graphics, Furniture, AV, Cleaning, Electricity (usage and hookup), Internet, and Floral
VIPARIS is the Exhibition Services provider for GET 2023. Visit their webshop to order additions to your Booth package, as well as electrical hookup for Space Only.
When prompted to “Select your space”, choose MENAND ROOM.

Starting in 2024, EAGE has moved from the Exhibitor Voucher and Guest Pass system of previous years to a new system that distributes three types of Exhibitor registration types based on the sqm of your purchased booth package/space only space.
These fixed registration types are not meant to operate as vouchers and as such can not be exchanged or combined to upgrade to another registration type.
