Invited Speaker Registration

All speakers need to be registered for the conference. As an invited speaker you can choose from the below options:

  • One-Day Registration: Complimentary (for the day of your presentation)
  • Full Conference Registration: Discounted Speaker Fee at € 670

Keynote Presentation Format

Keynote presenters will each have *40 minutes for their presentation (unless otherwise advised):

  • Introduction
  • 35 minutes for Presentation
  • 5 minutes for Q&A

*The exact duration of a keynote presentation may vary depending on the technical conference programme

Technical details

  • Slide presentations should be uploaded via the link provided closer to the event
  • Alternatively, you may bring your presentation on a USB to be uploaded directly in the room where your presentation will take place

Dedicated Session Format

  • Dedicated sessions vary in format, but most run for 80 to 100 minutes. They typically feature invited speakers (chosen by the session moderators) who present their work and spark discussion on the topic.
  • Your moderator may have provided specific guidelines regarding your topic or presentation length. If you have any questions, please contact us at abstracts@eage.org.

ABSTRACT TEMPLATE

The uploaded extended abstract must be in the conference template and in PDF (the portal will not accept other formats). Please make sure the document is not protected.
 

Template usage:

  • Start your extended abstract with a cover page, including the following:
    • The presentation title;
    • Authors and affiliations;
    • Summary (max 200 words).
  • Start the extended abstract on a new page;
  • Start the body text of your extended abstract directly under the conference logo;
  • Use font ‘Times New Roman 11pts’ with single line spacing. Set the alignment as justified and use the standard Word outline level (body text);
  • Do not add empty lines or modify the line space;
  • Use 2,54 cm (1”) for top, bottom, left and right margin;
  • Do not modify the template header and/or footer;
  • Include at least one graphic;
  • Include references.

The lay-out of the references should be consistent with the style guide for references in the First Break Author Guidelines. Please ensure every citation has a reference and vice versa.

Number the figures sequentially, according to their appearance in the text, and check that each figure is cited in the text.

Supply a short caption for each figure; more detailed discussion of the figure can be reserved for the text. Further information about the use of figure captions and figure numbering can be found in the First Break Author Guidelines.

Please note that EAGE is not able to cover costs related to travel or accommodation related to your attendance to GET2026.
