Wednesday 29 October – 19:00 – 00:00
Laurenskerk, Rotterdam
Address: Grotekerkplein 27, 3011 GC Rotterdam
For the GET2025 evening programme, we welcome you to the Laurenskerk, the only remaining medieval building in the centre of Rotterdam. Built between 1449 and 1525, the church is a striking reminder of the city’s history and resilience. After being badly damaged during the bombing of Rotterdam in 1940, it was carefully restored and now stands as both a monument and a living part of the city.
Inside, the Laurenskerk is striking for its size and atmosphere. The high arches, stone walls and the largest organ in the Netherlands give the space a character you will not find anywhere else in the city.
Attending the evening here is also a chance to experience part of Rotterdam’s history. The Laurenskerk is a symbol of how the city rebuilt itself, and today it remains a place where people gather for music, culture and events.
Before the dinner, you could visit the bell tower for a quick climb and a great view of the city.
Getting to the venue
The Laurenskerk is just a short walk from the WTC Beurs Rotterdam, where the conference takes place. It is less than 10 minutes on foot, so you can easily make your way there after the day’s sessions.
Bell Tower Climb- Before the Dinner
Join a guided climb of the bell tower at the start of the event.
Group tours: 19:00 and 19:30 (first come, first served).
Please note: due to safety and limited capacity, access is restricted to guided groups during scheduled times only. The climb involves around 300 steep steps, so high heels are not permitted.
Note: Access is only possible with your conference badge, so please bring it along.
